What started as a form of therapy in my garage, quickly became a passion providing me with the opportunity to have a positive impact on others. Not only have I seen remarkable gains in my fitness and overall health, but time spent working out with family has strengthened my marriage and created a positive example for my two kids. As a CrossFit coach and affiliate owner, each day is a new opportunity to motivate and inspire athletes of all ages and skill levels to reach their full potential. I’m constantly in awe of how CrossFit can push ordinary people to do extraordinary things.”

“I started CrossFit in 2009 in the garage out of curiosity and as a way to get into shape after having my first daughter. I had no idea then what this journey would lead to and never did I imagine I would eventually become a coach. Now I consider myself to have the best job in the world and I look forward to every class I coach. It is a privilege to be able to help people become better, healthier versions of themselves and to watch them accomplish things they never thought were possible. I am constantly inspired and motivated by our amazing community and I know they have taught me more than I could ever teach them. Becoming a coach, as well as being an athlete, has forced me outside of my comfort zone and has challenged me mentally but I wouldn’t change it for anything. I love the feeling of being challenged physically and mentally and I have grown because of it in ways I wouldn’t have expected at this point in my life. I hope that this journey has set a healthy example for my 4 children and that they find a journey that excites them as much as this one has for me.”

“I upgraded my fitness in 2016.
As a faithful student of ‘leg days,’ ‘treadmills,’ and ‘chest days’ – I was hesitant to transfer into CrossFit. I was content with going to a gym full of strangers, lifting some weight, jogging on a treadmill, and nodding ‘farewell’ to the nameless acquaintance at the front desk … sleep … REPEAT. The gym was where I did routine maintenance.
CrossFit Jane provides routine IMPROVEMENTS - in fitness and life – not just on the barbell. Here, there are no strangers, we lift all the weights, we run in the sun (and the rain), and we high-five/hug/congratulate each other after every workout.
I love this community and I am grateful for the opportunity to share the enthusiasm it shares with me – we all learn, live, and lift together!
